My stay at Hotel Du Vin & Bistro in York was good overall, marked by really good staff service and a convenient location. However, I encountered some minor issues with housekeeping and amenities, which didn't quite meet the high standards I expected. Still, the cozy atmosphere and pet-friendly services made for a nice experience. 🏨🐾

The deluxe room I stayed in was well-equipped, featuring a super bathroom and quality toiletries. However, it lacked some essential amenities like a full set of towels and extra tea supplies for two. The shower absolutely stood out as a highlight!

The staff truly made my stay really good with their friendly attitude and attention to detail. They warmly welcomed my dog, bringing her sausages at breakfast and ensuring I had what I needed during my stay.

The hotel's proximity to the city center was perfect, just a short 15-minute walk to the historical attractions. This made exploring York very easy and enjoyable.

While breakfast offered a good variety and was quite tasty, the dining experience didn’t quite live up to my expectations based on the hotel’s reputation. The service was a bit slow during dinner, although the bistro had a nice atmosphere.

The hotel provided various thoughtful amenities, like dog beds and excellent tea and coffee facilities in the room. Nevertheless, I did find the £10 parking fee somewhat surprising considering the room rates.

I had a fabulous stay at Hotel Du Vin in York! The location was perfect, just a quick stroll from the city center, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. However, the standard double room I booked didn’t quite meet my expectations in terms of comfort, with pillows that didn’t really support me well. Overall, it was a nice visit with just a couple of minor hiccups.

The deluxe room I booked was spacious and comfortable but the pillows let me down a bit. They looked great, but I sunk right through them. Still, the bathroom was a highlight with a lovely roll-top bath and a massive shower.

Breakfast was really delicious and cooked to order. I didn't check out the cold table, but the themed breakfast offerings were satisfying. Just a heads up, it’s a bit pricey compared to nearby cafes.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Hotel Du Vin & Bistro York. While the staff was exceptionally friendly and provided great service, I found the room I was in rather small with limited storage, which made unpacking difficult. Additionally, the atmosphere in the bistro lacked vibrancy, which was disappointing considering the price I paid. On the positive side, the hotel did serve a wonderful breakfast that I enjoyed each morning. 🥐✨

My room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a fantastic rain shower and luxury toiletries. However, I found the parking fees a bit surprising for a four-star hotel, and I encountered some minor issues with evening dining. Nevertheless, I'd definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenient location.

My stay at Hotel Du Vin & Bistro York had its ups and downs. While the location is convenient and the staff were incredibly attentive, I found a few issues that dampened my experience. My room was quite hot, and the walls were thin, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful stay. Dinner at the restaurant could have been better, but breakfast was a standout. Overall, I felt disappointed given the expectation of luxury.
